What You Can Expect

1 Day – Arrival Day! Welcome to Cinque Terre!

Arrival and check-in at your boutique hotel in Cinque Terre. You will have time to relax before having a typical dinner in one of our favorite restaurants

2 Day – Let’s discover Cinque Terre fishing villages and the heroic wine.

Today you will discover the Cinque Terre villages, five clusters of colorful houses clinging to the steep coast. With your local insider, you will discover the most secret corners and the best panoramas. Then you will reach the terraced vineyard of a local producer: you will be immediately captured by the breathtaking beauty this spot of land overlooking the blue sea! You will visit the panoramic vineyard and taste local wines paired with a rich buffet of traditional recipes, hand-made just for you.

Private guide and transfer by public boat or train.

3 Day – Live la Dolce Vita in Portofino and surroundings.

Visit the charming villages of Santa Margherita and Portofino. Walk among painted palaces, elegant villas and gardens and enjoy la “Dolce Vita”. Take a stroll in Portofino, with its luxury boutiques and charming cafes. Then take the public boat (weather and sea conditions permitting) and reach the spectacular cove of San Fruttuoso with its medieval abbey built right on the pebble beach, restored and protected by FAI, the Italian National Trust. Return to your hotel and for dinner, we’ll give you our suggested list of favorite places where to eat.

4 Day – Discover Portovenere

Today you will leave Cinque Terre but there is still a surprise: you will discover the amazing village of Portovenere, a hidden treasure with its combination of amazing nature and a great history. Your private guide will lead you along the wonderful strip of homes that lay across the shoreline of the marina till reaching the medieval church of St. Peter, perched on the rocks overlooking the crystalline sea and the castle. After visiting the village, you could have lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking the sea or taste some typical street food. In the afternoon your private driver will transfer you to Parma. Check-in at your hotel in Parma. Time to relax and dinner in a typical restaurant.

5 Day – Parma food tour!

Today you will visit Parma, the first Italian Creative City for Gastronomy UNESCO! With your local guide and food shopper you will learn about Parma art and food excellences and will have a tasting session of Parma specialties in an ancient food boutique, welcomed by the its owner. In the afternoon you can take your time to explore Parma by yourself may be doing some shopping in the elegant boutiques or taking an aperitif in a cafe overlooking the Cathedral.

6 Day – Great food heritage: Prosciutto and Parmigiano

After breakfast and check-out you will meet your local guide and private driver and start and amazing tour to discover the protagonists of Parma culinary tradition: Prosciutto di Parma (Parma’s ham) and Parmiggiano Reggiano (Parmesan Cheese).

First you will visit a Parmigiano Reggiano factory attending to the production process and seeing the birth of the cheese wheel. Following you will visit a “black pig” breeding on Parma smooth hills with an amazing view over the Food Valley and a Prosciutto di Parma factory with tasting session of “black pig salami”, Km 0 products and organic food specialties. The producer will reveal to you all Parma Ham aging secrets and how the sea wind coming from Cinque Terre and Liguria influences the ham’s taste!
