A trip of 8 Days/ 7 Nights
1 Day – Arrival day. Welcome to the Italian Riviera!
Check-in at your selected accommodation in Genoa historical center which charm will be the set of your Italian holiday. Relax after your long trip and start feeling the Italian atmosphere.
In the evening you’ll have dinner in one of our favorite Italian restaurant cuisine (wine included of course!)
2 Day – Genoa: Pesto and Culture
After breakfast, you’ll meet your private tour guide at your accommodation in Genoa.
You’ll have a walking tour of the historical center of Genoa discovering the most famous monuments of the town. Wandering through the “Carrugi” alleys is a unique experience and we believe that by just walking through these maze of historical streets, you’ll find the “real” Genoa essence. You’ll discover the largest medieval old town in Europe, walk along its authentic medieval alleyways, stop in the squares and in the renaissance streets of the historical town.
You’ll walk in Via Garibaldi, a Unesco World Heritage which will leave you speechless with its painted palaces built by noble families in XV century.
But the day is not finished. You’ll be welcomed to enjoy a pesto demonstration as the tradition wants, with mortar and pestle in a typical house in Genoa historical center with a local chef. He will show you how to make the famous pesto sauce and together you’ll enjoy what you have prepared!

3 Day – Cinque Terre Tour and Wine
After breakfast, you’ll meet your private local tour guide and together via train you’ll reach the famous Cinque Terre.
In the morning you will visit the two iconic villages of Cinque Terre: Manarola and Vernazza. You’ll wander among the tiny squares and side alleys of the villages, you’ll walk among the famous terraced vineyards of Manarola, and reach the picturesque Vernazza with a romantic walk till the capuchin cloister.
In the afternoon you’ll be welcomed by a local wine producer who will show you his amazing vineyards protected by Unesco and you’ll hear more about the history of this unique wine, how is produced and you’ll have the possibility to taste it with some typical specialties handmade just for you. Tasting the Cinque Terre wine is something not to be missed. We think the wine in this area speaks about The Cinque Terre, the local people who hardly work this land from centuries with passion and fondness.
After visiting the vineyards you will taste typical Cinque Terre wines, paired with some local traditional recipes (for example salted anchovies, vegetable cake, focaccia, pesto sauce).

4 Day – Tastes of Portofino: Oil and aromatic herbs
After breakfast, you’ll meet your private tour guide at Santa Margherita railway station.
Today you’ll have a tour of the picturesque villages in the heart of Portofino Natural Park: Santa Margherita and Portofino. The tour starts in the picturesque village of Santa Margherita Ligure, once called the “salotto” of the entire Gulf with its troump d’oeil painted palaces, will fascinate you. You’ll live “la dolce vita” walking among charming villas surrounded by elegant gardens and parks. From Santa Margherita you’ll reach Portofino with a panoramic trip by public boat (weather and sea conditions permitting; otherwise you’ll take the public bus). Portofino is a small fishing village which is now the center of élite tourism. You’ll visit the tiny village with its spectacular castle, the church perched on the cliff and the luxury boutiques.
Your day continues with an exclusive experience in Portofino: you will reach by yourself a private terraced garden just above the village (10 minutes easy walk). From there you will enjoy an amazing view of the village and its bay. Among olive and lemon trees, herbs and vines, you’ll meet a local skillful lady who will tell you about the typical aromatic herbs that grows spontaneously in Portofino gardens, such as basil, rosemary and sage. You will see, touch and smell the herbs and learn the way local people has been using them for centuries to prepare traditional recipes. You will also taste the local, precious extra-virgin olive oil and discover how it is mixed with herbs to prepare delicious sauces that you will taste with a glass of local wine.

5 Day – Transfer to the beautiful Tuscany: land of taste, thermal well-being and unforgettable landscapes.
Arrivederci and check-out from your accommodation in the Italian Riviera! Your private driver will wait for you to transfer to Tuscany.

Taste your first typical Tuscan lunch in the restaurant of your accommodation.
In the afternoon you’ll appreciate one of the most renowned pearls of Tuscany: Pienza, a Unesco heritage site. Strolling through Pienza, finding yourselves on the viewpoint or in the square, walking among the charming palaces and alleys with typical stores and workshops as in a renaissance painting, you’ll see it’s an experience to enjoy at least once in a lifetime! Pienza and its amazing surrounding countryside hosted numerous movies sets, such as “The English Patient” or “The Gladiator”, so it’s exciting to touch the places that inspired so many artists.
In the evening, you’ll have a special dinner in a country house, with a tasting menu from appetizers to desserts – prepared with saffron and served with local wines, concluding with saffron brandy, the authentic specialty of the house.
6 Day – Today you’ll be a Tuscan chef! and then…relax at a SPA
After breakfast you’ll be accompanied to a country house to have a special cooking class. The location is very cosy, with a Tuscan country style kitchen. You’ll learn to cook a full Tuscan menu with a professional chef: from appetizers to desserts, all made with selected and seasonal products. At the end of the preparation, you’ll sit at the table, enjoying a delicious lunch with the dishes prepared.
It’s an experience that shouldn’t be missed if you want to know the culture of a land so rich of flavours.
The afternoon is dedicated to wellness and relaxation at the Sensory spa in Chianciano Terme.

7 Day – Wine class to appreciate the precious nectar of Tuscany: nobile, rosso, Chianti and Brunello wine.
After breakfast, you’ll have a wine class in Montepulciano, so it’ll be the opportunity to experience flavours, scents and colours and learning how to choose a quality wine.
Light lunch and in the afternoon, to complete the experience of the wine class, you’ll visit two historic cellars, where you can taste products and appreciate the atmosphere of tradition.
Dinner in a fine Slow Food Restaurant.
8 Day – Arrivederci Day!
After breakfast, it will be time for check-out and departure. Today it’s the “arrivederci” day. We will look forward to meeting you again and hope that you enjoyed this little taste of the Tuscany lifestyle.
