[nggallery id=16]Ingredients:
mussels,
breadcrumbs,
garlic clove,
parsley,
extra virgin oil,
thyme,
marjoram,
salt,
pepper.
Preparation:
Clean well the mussels and use a short knife to open them. Discard the empty shells, leaving the mussels in the other half.
In a bowl mix together the breadcrumbs, parsley (finely chopped), marjoram, thyme, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic clove (finely chopped).
Then, arrange the mussels on a baking tray and top each one with a little of the mixture. Finally, drizzle with olive oil.
At this point, grill the mussels in a preheated oven until they are golden brown, for about 15/20 minutes.
Serve them hot with a white dry wine and buon appetito!
Suggestions:
I suggest to use fresh herbs (marjoram and thyme). I’m sure You’ll be rewarded ten-fold when you cook with fresh herbs! The wonderful fragrance of an herb is most pleasing, but your palate will enjoy the greatest pleasure from the herb’s flavor itself.
