Lake Como panoramic hiking – “Sentiero del Viandante”
Together with your private hiking guide, you will discover the ‘Sentiero del Viandante’ (Wayfarer’s Path), a scenic mountain mule track winding through chestnut and olive groves.
This path was the ancient connection between Lecco and Valtellina: starting from Abbadia and passing through the territories of Varenna and Dervio, the trail reaches Colico, following the eastern shore of Lake Como at mid-mountain level.
The Sentiero del Viandante (Wayfarer’s Path) is ideally divided into 3 or 4 stages. We suggest the Bellano-Varenna part, which is one of the most scenic, an ideal location to savor a delicious local tasting: cold meats and cheeses, accompanied by bread.
