Start a tour in the city’s heart, at the famous Duomo. The Gothic cathedral is thought by many to be one of the most beautiful churches in the world, and your guide will point out aspects of its impressive façade. From the Duomo, you’ll walk to the Guastalla district. Having never had a Jewish ghetto, Milan does not have too many places to visit to talk about the history of this community. The most famous one is for sure the mother synagogue: the precious masterpiece by Luca Beltrami. But here we are a few steps in front of the Synagogue, a destination of absolute interest in the cultural and architectural panorama of our city: the center and symbol of Milanese Judaism, its building strikes our gaze for the decorative richness of the gold and cobalt blue mosaics that adorn the high façade, a splendid example of the late nineteenth-century eclecticism that characterized the entire original project, unfortunately partially lost today.

Then, you’ll continue the visit with your guide and travel by tram or taxi (not included) to reach a dynamic and typical district. Explore the canals of Milan, the Navigli. Walk through this artistic neighborhood in central Milan alongside canals designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Start with the guided tour of the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio which overlooks the square of the same name, near Porta Ticinese, on the edge of the Parco delle Basiliche, contains inside and outside itself a mixture of history and art dedicated according to tradition to Eustorgio Bishop of Milan, this basilica of early Christian origin which has seen several reconstructions from the Roman and then Renaissance periods, would contain the tombs of the Magi.
