Today, you will have the opportunity to meet Laurel Evans, an award-winning cookbook author, and television personality who lives in Milan!
Laurel is a professional and great lady expert in Italian cuisine. You can find her on jury panels for international cooking competitions, developing recipes, consulting with various restaurants on menu creation, performing cooking demos for selected guests, harvesting olives off the family land in Liguria, or guiding Stanley Tucci on his “Searching for Italy” tour of all things Ligurian!
With her, you will sample local specialties like risotto giallo (with saffron) and panettone from historic local shops while diving into the history and culture of bustling and dynamic Milano. Italy’s capital of fashion, design, and finance is quickly becoming one of its most interesting culinary destinations. A microcosm of Italian culture, Milan boasts a rich and varied food landscape that pushes boundaries and never ceases to surprise.
