Start the day with an Italian Cappuccino or Espresso in one of the historical shops in Santa Margherita. Here the family tradition is brought down from generations and it will be like entering a temple of Italian gastronomy.
Continue through the alleys flanked by painted palaces of this elegant coastal town and stop at a well-known typical trattoria. Here you will enjoy a tasting of Ligurian Extra Virgin Olive oil and fresh basil pesto accompanied by toasted bread ‘bruschette’ and typical vegetable pies.
Then you will reach Camogli in a 5-minute train ride. Camogli is one of the most picturesque villages in the Italian Riviera. Following your private guide, you will stroll pleasantly in the village, from the spectacular promenade to the postcard picturesque fishing harbor. Camogli is the homeland of the Ligurian Focaccia and you will stop at the most famous bakery and look at the baker at work. Then, you will taste different kinds of freshly baked focaccia while sipping a glass of wine at a table overlooking the tiny port.
