Genoa

Maybe we are biased because we are Genoese, but we think Genoa, aka “La Superba  ” has something truly magical to it. This is a  city with  authentic Italian charm where mass tourism has not managed to change the spirit or the people. Travelers visit for the first time and immediately fall in love, so be prepared!

Genoa is made up of a labyrinth of narrow medieval alleys which create the largest historical center of Europe. Here you’ll  find ultra-centenarian boutiques and food shops passed down from generations without changing a single detail,  maintaining their ancient traditions. Criss-crossing through the city’s alleyways is a delight-you can walk each narrow street and end up popping out close to an imposing medieval church, a lovely square, a traditional food shop where you can have a piece of focaccia or a typical trattoria where you can taste the famous Genoese pesto sauce!

You can take a walk in Via Garibaldi in the upper part of the town and be overwhelmed by the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site lined with amazing palaces dating back to the 15th century. Genoa is also about people and great stories, iridescent lights and vertical itineraries!  This is a city with many souls: medieval, baroque and modern at the same time.

It’s impossible not to love!
