The elegance of Nervi’s shops, the temperate climate, the ancient houses, the small harbour, the parks and its promenade “Anita Garibaldi” on the sea, makes this town a little corner out of the time.
Last week, I decided to spent a day in Nervi with my two small cousins. They came with their parents from United States to spend their vacation on the Italian Riviera.
That day, I took them to Bagni Medusa, on the Nervi Promenade. Bagni Medusa is a restaurant/pizzeria and a bathing centre with a curious, natural, swimming pool formed on the rocks jutting straight out of the sea.
The children love this pool and it is pleasant also for the parents that can sit at the restaurant, taste a good seafood dish or pizza, and have a look at their children.
In fact, the restaurant overlooks on the pool and from there you can admire the extended bay of Golfo Paradiso as far as the promontory of Portofino.
More info on Golfo Paradiso can be read in the post Paradise Bay just outside the city.
