My husband and I just returned from a one-week trip to Italy planned by Anna, Emanuela and their team.
We have visited Italy several times and decided that we would concentrate on the Liguria and Piedmont areas on this visit. Anna listened carefully to our wishes and planned a trip that was just what we wanted: to visit places that were relatively quiet and off the tourist beaten track (at least as much as that is possible in Italy). We spent three nights in Sestri Levante (near the Cinque Terre) and four nights in Orta in the lake district and we were not disappointed. Everything planned by the team worked out very well, from the transfers and hotels to the guides and restaurant suggestions.
The team was in contact with us throughout our stay and when any issues arose, they were quickly resolved. (For example, there was a train strike on the day we were to travel from Liguria to Milan and Anna’s team quickly arranged alternate transportation for us.) I find it’s often the small things that make a trip memorable and we were very impressed when we arrived at our first hotel to find a welcome note from Anna as well as a bottle of bubbly and some treats in our room.
Our next trip to Italy will be to the Veneto area and we will definitely use the services of Anna and Emanuela’s company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wishing to visit northern Italy.

We had a fantastic family trip in the Italian Riviera planned by Anna, Manu, and their team.
We had a fantastic family trip in the Italian Riviera planned by Anna, Manu, and their team. They planned a very exciting trip for us that involved the right balance of exploring and relaxing for our family of four. They were clearly local experts with specialized knowledge about the region and a deep passion for planning special trips for clients. They customized everything to fit our needs and had great suggestions for things big and small (including what to do when our travel plans changed and we decided to add two days to the start of the trip). We all had a really great time, the hotels were great, the activities and the restaurants were terrific, and the guides were fantastic.
We had many special moments on our trip, from snorkeling in San Fruttuoso to hiking in Portofino National Park to kayaking to the Portofino lighthouse to watching a picturesque sunset from a winery in the hills above Cinque Terre. And it was a pleasure to work with Anna and Manu—they were incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and flexible. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that we could enjoy an amazing trip. We highly recommend visiting Liguria, and if you are going to go, we suggest planning a trip with them!! You certainly won’t be disappointed!

I just got off the phone with Mark and he was so head over heels happy about the whole trip.
Nothing but fantastic things to say about all the properties, the staff at all of them (especially in Torino), the drivers, the experiences, all of it. He also noted how much he loved the woman who runs the boutique hotel in Langhe area. He was so happy with everything, he said the trip was “perfect.” A smashing success! Thanks again or everything!

For my husband’s milestone 80th birthday trip, we chose to return to Italy and work again with Emanuela
She arranged an extraordinary trip for us in the fall of 2024 and we were confident that she would do so again. Because we know Italy well, her task was not easy. Also, we wanted to be positioned somewhere special for my husband’s birthday, which posed a logistical challenge because of the departure airport and flight schedules. Emanuela came up with wonderful ideas and implemented them to perfection.
In Umbria we spent four nights in the remarkably unspoiled small town of Montefalco, where we were received so warmly that we almost felt like locals by the end of our stay. We used it as a base for exploring the area with our guide Cinzia, whose love for the region and her intimate knowledge of it came through at every moment. There were discoveries we would not have found on our own, like the small museum in Assisi dedicated to the often-neglected story of the local clergy and others who risked their lives to shelter Jews during the Nazi occupation. There were special treats like a truffle hunt, and a tasting at a local wine maker overlooking a panoramic landscape.
Both of us are music and opera lovers, and from our next base in Bologna, we spent a special day focused on the Verdi legacy with Monica, our highly knowledgeable guide who took us behind the scenes of the Verdi Festival in Parma and Busseto, and to Verdi’s birthplace in Roncole. We ended our trip in a magnificent villa just outside Florence, where we celebrated David’s milestone birthday with an intimate wine dinner prepared specially for our preferences. We came home with treasured memories for which we’re very grateful.

Thank you, Anna.
We had a great time
All of the guides were so knowledgeable and excited to share their love of their region. Our view at the Hotel was out of this world. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean. We wish we had more time in each place to have explored at the slower pace but now we know where to go back. Pienza was such an unexpected surprise. We loved it. We especially enjoyed Giacomo and the tours of the food factories. The balsamic vinegar place in Modena was phenomenal. Your restaurant suggestions were spot on and we really enjoyed them. Thank you for planning such a memorable trip. We never could have put together a trip that allowed us to experience so many jewels.

We would not have been able to plan as rewarding a trip without her
Our trip to Italy was terrific. When I first spoke to Anna, I told her that I was interested in visiting Bologna, Lucca and Cinque Terre. She immediately suggested that we include the Langhe region of Piedmont which I had not known about. As it turned out, the 5 days we spent there provided some of the highlights of the trip. The area around Barolo is absolutely stunning with grapevines and hazelnut orchards all around and many picturesque and historic towns. Not to mention that it has some of the best food we’ve ever had anywhere. Anna was very helpful in suggesting destinations and experiences which we enjoyed. Our visit to Dozza, which I had never heard of before, was fascinating. The tour guides we had were exceptionally knowledgeable and charming. Because Italy lifted their Covid restrictions shortly before we planned to visit, we were concerned about eating indoors. Anna recommended some terrific restaurants with outdoor dining. During a couple of the tours that included lunch, the dining was indoors, which made us a bit uncomfortable. But these restaurants, which were family-run and lots of fun to visit, weren’t crowded, so I guess they were ok. The hotels she suggested were chosen as historic and/or family-run and they were generally fine with at least one standout. But one (Arena in Lucca) was below our standards as the room was very small with no place to put any clothes, and there was no one around during the day to help with any issues we might have. The Castello Real in Verduno, in the small Langhe town of Verduno, was very atmospheric, but there was no A/C and the weather turned out to be quite hot. Luckily, we got enough of a breeze so we could sleep comfortably. Ultimately, we thought it was worthwhile to stay in this unique hotel in a less touristy location and eat in the local restaurants which turned out to be amazing. Anna was extremely responsive to all of my email requests and comments and was a pleasure to work with. We would not have been able to plan as rewarding a trip without her.

Very patient and communicative
Emanuela helped to plan a great trip to Italy. She was very patient and communicative in the planning stages as well as when we were there. All the drivers and tour guides she chose were great. I would recommend her to anyone planning a trip to Italy.
