Sanremo and the hamlets of the West Riviera

Day 1 – Welcome to Sanremo

Today is your arrival day. Benvenuto! Check-in at your boutique accommodation in Sanremo. Relax after a long trip and start feeling the Italian atmosphere!

Take a stroll in the elegant roads of the center or explore the alleyways of the ancient Pigna neighborhood.

For dinner, we suggest you try the famous red shrimps of Sanremo in one of our preferred restaurants. Overnight in Sanremo.

Day 2 – Let’s go inland and discover the villages of Dolceacqua and Apricale

After breakfast, you’ll meet your local insider and explore together the inland valleys dotted with olive trees and vineyards.

This is the area where they produce the delicate extra-virgin olive oil from Liguria and one of the few red wines of the region, the Rossese. Driving along the river (private driver not included), you will admire a beautiful landscape of rolling hills till reaching the beautiful village of Dolceacqua dominated by the castle and made unique by the ancient humpback bridge painted by Monet.

During your tour, you can’t miss tasting local wine in a wine cellar of the village. Overnight in Sanremo.

Day 3 – A unique tour in Bordighera village and at Hanbury gardens!

Your private guide will pick you up at the hotel and together you’ll reach Bordighera's beautiful village with its exotic gardens and noble villas. The special Mediterranean light of this side of the Riviera fascinated many painters and today you will visit the authentic atelier of one of the most famous Italian impressionist painters, Pompeo Mariani.
In the afternoon you’ll explore the beautiful Hanbury gardens. The area where the gardens are situated has a perfect climate all year around. It was so perfect that an English gentleman, Sir Thomas Hanbury, decided to make his dream come true right in that place!

In the afternoon departure or continue your trip with a beautiful tour to Montecarlo. Overnight in Sanremo.
