Cinque Terre visit with lunch amongst the vineyards
Explore the Cinque Terre villages with your private tour guide. Spend the morning visiting Vernazza and Manarola, two of the most iconic villages. Around lunchtime we will reach a gorgeous wine estate nestled just above the village of Monterosso, a true oasis of peace and tranquility surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, where you will enjoy a lunch with local specialties paired with the excellent Cinque Terre wines produced there. Take your time to relax on the lawn sipping a Limoncino prepared with the exact same lemons that you see around you. After lunch, take a stroll through the narrow streets of the village of Monterosso until you reach the bright promenade and the Capuchin convent, from which you will enjoy a magnificent view of the bay.
Beyond Cinque Terre, sailing along Portovenere, Lerici and Tellaro in the gulf of poets
Today you’ll discover the beautiful Gulf of Poets with the amazing villages of Portovenere, Lerici and Tellaro and sail along the wild coast dotted with tiny islands. You’ll hop onto a comfortable motorboat in Monterosso and enjoy a beautiful tour of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto islands. You’ll admire the impressive cliffs, grottos and fortresses of this beautiful stretch of coast, beloved by poets and writers such as Byron and Shelley, then disembarking in the unique village of Portovenere with its castle and exquisite church perched on the cliff. Amble amongst the narrow alleys and walk up to the church from its vantage point on the rock and admire the breathtaking view. Then continue by boat crossing the Gulf to reach Lerici, dominated by the beautiful castle which overlooks the water. Take a dip in one of the best coves and continue sailing along this jagged coast. Admire the best view of the tiny village of Tellaro, naturally from the sea: it will definitely be a wow moment!
A food and wine trail: don’t miss the hidden and authentic side of Cinque Terre
Together with your tour guide you will set out for a sustainable tourism experience discovering the hidden side of the Cinque Terre, far away from the crowds. Breathe in the quiet rural atmosphere, just a 10-minute train ride from Monterosso. You’ll discover the beautiful village of Framura, nestled up on a hill that slopes down towards the sea.
Departing from the top of the village, taking in the magnificent panorama, you’ll take the easy paved path which winds through colorful houses, vineyards, and gardens until it reaches the picturesque tiny port. Along the way you’ll meet small, local family-owned businesses and enjoy gourmet stops with local specialties and wine tastings! You will learn about the heroic Cinque Terre wines are made and support the hard work of their local producers.
