Highlights will include the Jewish Ghetto with its unique history, the Cannaregio district – one of the most picturesque in Venice – and the warren of streets all around the Rialto bridge. You’ll also have the chance to visit Peggy Guggenheim’s exceptional modern art collection!
A special morning visiting the Venetian islands
Today you will board a private, luxury vessel, navigating Venice’s canals and lagoon, visiting the islands of Burano and Murano. First you will head to Burano where you will enjoy the other worldly atmosphere by strolling through this fishing village, admiring the beauty of its many brightly coloured houses, which have remained unchanged for decades. On the way back, your private boat will leave you in Murano, an island known for centuries for the outstanding quality of its glass production. Filled with small boutiques and showrooms, if you enjoy shopping you will find it a pleasurable stop. You will visit an artist’s studio where you can watch the artisans at work and marvel at their traditional glass blowing techniques.
This extraordinary day will be topped off by an exclusive aperitif on the terrace of a grand, noble palace overlooking the Grand Canal itself.

Welcome to Florence, of course where exceptional historical and unique accommodation awaits you!
Today your private tour guide will accompany you on a tour amongst the bridges, narrow alleys, medieval markets and Renaissance palaces, giving you the opportunity to appreciate the very best of Florence.
But your day will not finish here – so that you can visit Florence from another standpoint, prepare for your visit to some very special artisans’ workshops which still work exactly as they did in the past, like artisan goldsmiths or Florentine mosaic artists.
The gardens of Florence with a special lunch

The countryside around Florence: San Gimignano and its towers
Today you’ll visit San Gimignano, one of the best-preserved medieval villages in Europe, declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site! Your starting point is the majestic Porta San Giovanni from where you will walk along the main central avenue which runs over the historic Via Francigena, still connecting the most important cities from the North to the South of Italy and into Europe. You will pause and learn all about its many tall towers, finding out about the town’s history, traditions and legends. On your way to the two main squares, Piazza della Cisterna and Piazza del Duomo, you will not be able to resist taking beautiful photos of the panoramic views from the city walls which overlook its medieval alleys and the green hills of the valley beyond.
If you are not too tired after this walk, together with your tour guide you can also reach the ancient fortress and climb up one of the towers to enjoy the view over the neighbouring territories and the verdant Chianti hills.
